10 sides of Easter eggs in New York are happening this weekend

Easter is this Sunday, and that means it’s Easter egg hunting season.

Across New York City, organizations hosting hunts for children – and adults – of all ages, continue one of the most well-known traditions of the holiday.

The COVID-19 epidemic has postponed most of the celebrations in the past two years, but now they are back in full swing.

Baptist Church of Hope Live, Easter Egg Hunt

The Baptist Church of Hope Life hosts free egg hunting in the Bronx. There will be hunting by age groups, the church said, and participants will meet near the Pelham Bay Park playground before the event begins.

Location: Preserve State Park Clay Pit Ponds, Staten Island

Price: Free

The Clay Pete Funds National Park Reserve hosts egg hunts, followed by activities, crafts and presentations on eggs at the Nature Interpretation Center. The hunt will take place on two miles of trails. Participants are welcome to wear safety clothing and boots or sneakers.
